The Saudi British Bank "SABB" launched its "SABB Managers Development Program", or SMDP, for 2013. The initiative comes in line with SABB’s commitment to invest in the development of young Saudi talents, which would allow them to assume senior leadership roles in the future.
Participants will undergo a classroom and practical training, followed by a 5-week intensive program at HSBC’s Business School in London. The international part of the training will expose SMDP participants to fellow trainees from more than 80 countries.
Before launching the program, SABB selected 18 Saudi college graduates who went through a successful entrance tests, multiple interviews and selection process that took place in Riyadh, London and Washington DC.
In his comments on the launch, Mr. Ahmed Alsudais, General Manager of Human Resources, said "SABB possesses an extensive track record reflecting its commitment in building and grooming young graduates to assume leadership roles within the bank in the future. We have several success stories, where many senior executives in the bank started their SABB careers as participants in similar programs. I am sure that our SMDP 2013 participants will maximize all of the professional growth opportunities offered to them by SABB"
